¿Eureka!

I finally found reason enough to post again. This actually should be slightly interesting.

First, there are two things that I am surprised that people don't realize/know about me.
1. I know of the gutter, and sometimes my mind does slip in it, and yes, girls' minds do slip into it too, not just guys'. I was at the football game, and yes, there was a disturbance farther down the bench that a few of us noticed, and someone made a comment about how they couldn't believe what I was saying was actually coming out of my mouth. Innocent child? Have you not sat w/me at lunch???? I don't think you should if that surprised you that much.

2. I am a good actress. Let's just leave it at that. I can cover things up well, except for my stupid eyes, but they can also be deceiving because they always have big huge raccoon circles underneath them.

I was talking with some people, when someone made a comment about this blog. About how some people check it religiously. I asked why?? We barely ever post! What a disappointment- to check this thing daily w/no results! no new material! The response I got shocked me. I could not believe it. I thought I knew this person well, but I guess the fact that they are slightly sexist didn't appear on my sexist-radar. In answer to my question they supposedly check our blog often because "he thinks all girls are messed up and thinks your blog is..." I think they said "an example of this" or "is retarded" something of the sort. Well sorry, but since when is there blog etiquette?? Am I supposed to talk about only dinner-appropriate subjects? Am I supposed to actually blog about something of context? Cuz I do remember you commenting on some other blog that they should "have less content" in their posts. Kinda hypocritical don't you think? Then I got around to thinking, why, why, would a guy think this about girls? And I came up with some reasons why guys are misreading us or misjudging or whatever.

1. Girls giggle. A lot. I think guys take this as us being stupid, ditzy or just plain annoying. Ahem, but laughing/giggle is good for your heart, keeps it healthy man! And it is also just us trying to have a good time, if you can get giggly about nothing you know u are lighthearted, and for the time all the pressures of being a teen, peers, boys, school and whatever else, are lifted. It does not mean we are ditzy.

2. Just because you have a blonde moment does not mean you are stupid. Trust me, just trust me on this, I am a complete blonde, obviously by the looks of this blog, and I am definitely not stupid. Check the class ratings. I ain't one 'a dem dere farmar folk who at da bottum. O no sir, I ain't. And yes, I can make fun of farmers, I come from a dad who was a farmer, and didn't do so well in classes, just because he had other things to do, you know? work on the farm and such..

3. Guys think sluts are attractive. Why? It's like making out with another guy. Wow, ya'll are bi in a way I guess, since that obviously doesn't gross you out.

4. Yes, we have periods and we have PMS. And if a girl snaps at you this may be the reason. Don't think we hate you or are moody. It's not our fault talk to my pituitary gland, and she'll send you to talk to Ms. Estrogen. Have fun, bring tissues.

5. Some girls are shy, and don't talk much, or look at you or even like to stray from her friends. This comes off as being stuck up. But it isn't. At all. I'm reading this story Kerosene, and it is about a really really really shy guy. Sooo you guys suffer from it too, and guys are hardly ever referred to as stuck up...

6. I will not deny it, girls have trust issues. If you had to put up with 2-faced backstabers so would you. If you break a girls trust ur gonna end up breaking ur back to make up for it. Good luck to all you unlucky guys out there. Chocolate is the best mood-improver, so I suggest getting her to ingest some of that first.

Yeah, so pretty sure I strayed from my original topic, but oh well, that is kinda the point I wanted to get across, not exactly, cuz I have like a 5 minute memory, so I forgot all of my good material, but I think it is pretty close.

The Blonde-moment queen and giggle-loving girl,
~Ginga~

Nothing, I guess, only it's bad I guess if you say your straight, cuz then you're lying...and it's interesting.... Were you upset by my post? I'd like feedback on this topic, since I guess, I think it makes you have a wider perspective if you know where others, different from you, are coming from.

People always try and fight the flow of language. Words change over time, and they always have. Political correctness is just trying to kill this change. Take the word Gay, at one point, it meant happily excited. Then it changed, to mean homosexual, and now its changing again to just mean lame, or uncool. That is how language works, and its happened with a million words. To try and stop it is useless, but to agree with it is now looked down at. Political correctness kills language.
