Ditched by Vitus...

So, here I am, again, alone.... Vitus left me, (on my free-est week so far this summer!) to go up north. She went somewhere in the Apostle Islands... Camping, I bet they don't last, they'll be in a hotel after the 3rd night in that bug filled tent.. Too funny... It'll be just like a repeat of camp for you Vitus!!

Ahh well, so now I am sitting here, slightly exhausted, it's been a tough 3 days! On Saturday I had all the girls over (minus Bert, who was camping... how ironic!) for my birthday (including Pluto, Uranus, Neptune, Venus, Jupiter, I think I'm forgetting some..... They came over at 3:30, with Amanda here at 3 to help me set up. I was cleaning Geronimo's cage, when I remembered that the vacuum wasn't working well, it worked, but it reeked... So I had to vacuum up the feathers, and risk Geronimo dying of fumes... ( he hasn't croaked as of yet, but any day now he might). The plan was to sleep out in the tent, if everything went well (no thunderstorms), which it did, luckily! So anyway, they all got here, with Pluto being only slightly hyper at that time. We set up the tent, and it was like 90 degrees out, and everyone was hot and sweaty, so we got in our swim suits, and got extremely refreshed with the 40 degree hose water. With the tent put up (somehow, no one knew how it worked, including me, it was kinda guess and hope it doesn't fall down..) we headed downstairs, to freeze our butts off even more in my 50 degree basement. Things went insane from there on out. Someone found our "costumes" (which aren't hard to find, since they are hanging up in plain sight) and Rachel decided to get dressed up in one... Needless to say, it was interesting... Then everyone picked one out. I'm not going to say who was in which costume, but here is the list: 2 Cowgirl Maids, decked out in cowboy hats, swim suits, and feather dusters; A ballerina in a beautiful (hideous) pink tutu, with a lovely, and contrasting swim suit underneath that totally made the outfit; A pre-Jennifer Lopez in a (again, hideous) red dress that made anyone have a ghetto booty; A purple bumblebee in a peasant dress; a bridesmaid in another hideous purple dress; another retro bridesmaid in another hideous pink lacy dress; I think that is all, otherwise I can't remember anymore. So, we are in these ugly costumes, and we decide, 'Omg!! I have the Backstreet Boy's new CD upstairs, we HAVE to make a music video to 'Incomplete'". So we made a hilarious, and totally classified music video, that won't leave my house until senior graduation. We named it: "Incomplete: staring the Wing WANG sistas and costarring Mr. Deer". To say the least it was hilarious... With some of Pluto's more embarassing and super-hyper moments caught on tape.
So, now with the music video complete, it was time for pizza, cake, icecream and all that yummy stuff. We then watched the end of Legally Blonde (it was on tv) and I opened presents. Thanks you guys!! I love them all!! We have to go shopping!! I have money to spend!! And a strawberry fruit chiller awaiting me at Gloria Jeans! Then, we took our stuff out to the tent. At this point in time it was like 9:45, or 10, and dark. (to understand what happens next, you need to understand one thing: 2 nights before this, I had threatened all the guys I knew not to come, because somehow some had found out about it, and were thinking of dropping by. My dad is incredibly protective and has, in the past, chased down guys off our lawn, and gotten their names, phone numbers, and addresses, which he doesn't remember anymore. So, somehow all the guys thought my dad was going to shoot them! uh, not really...) So any, because of all that ^ I was completely on edge, and paranoid that the guys may show up. Then, Abby and I thought we saw a white t-shirt, and started chasing after it. Then, down the street we saw 2 guys on bikes. Thus, the chase began. There were six girls chasing around my block, after 2 (1 biker went the other way...) unknown people on bikes. Then we recognize the people, and are still chasing them, since they won't stop, even though we are screaming their names. After sprinting around my block (in bare feet) we are exhausted, and they got away. Then we decide to stand outside, waiting, figuring they will ride past, just to check... Which they do, then freak out because a car is coming down the road (and they think it is my dad coming home from the river). When asked why they didn't stop when they heard their names they replied "We thought your dad was with you guys with the shotgun." Wow, ok......
The rest of the night was girl talk, and hilarious comments....and searching for interesting constellations....

Yeah, it was an awesome sleep over, even if I do get a little crabby at night, sorry gals.

Now I'm getting pumped up for this weekend. My cousins are coming up from Arkansas to our cabin. It's going to be a blast! Plus, it is over my birthday, which is the best present anyone could ever give me.

Speaking of presents. I don't know, but I just don't like getting presents. I love them, but I don't think I'm materialistic (even though it seems sometimes that that is all I am...not good) enough to get all those presents at once. I'd rather give presents. Gosh, I should be Santa... lol, too bad. This is mainly the reason that I put Christmas towards the bottom of my list of favorite holidays. I love LOVE getting to see all of my relatives, and I love the crazy 14 cousin atmosphere, and I love baking Christmas cookies, but just cut me out of the presents. I love seeing other people get presents. I don't know, I'm not trying to sound like I'm all "do God's wishes" because believe me, I'm not, I can be materialistic, for which I feel like slapping myself. If I could drive, I would most definitely work at one of those soup kitchens or something volunteer-y like that on Christmas. That would be perfect. Which I plan to do something similar once I can drive. :)

So yeah, signing off again, since this post is already waaayyy too long,
